About Josephine

By my graduation in the summer of 2018 and my now progressing law school, I know how strenuous learning can be, especially if the subject simply is not. Also, I had some of my difficulties in certain subjects at school until I understood how to work on which subject with which approach to do what was required. Good marks are important and crucial for the later life and I would like to help students who are also hard to do, or simply have not found their personal learning strategy, to pass the school time with motivation and good performance. It simply needs motivation to focus on the substance and what is more motivating as a sense of achievement? Already as a student, I have since the age of 14 years tutoring in the specified subjects, but also given in biology or history and can proudly claim that all my students could settle on a 3 and better. I work structured with my pupils, that means concretely; I look at what state of things they are and then build on it. Furthermore, I always try to incorporate life-related topics and / or media, so that the students have the facts in front of them visually and in motion, can combine dry topics with their current topics and stay motivated. In my spare time, I run a children's and youth theater with 40 members. Through this work, I have learned to adapt to the individual needs of the individual, to understand where the weaknesses are to be able to work so targeted. As my mother also teaches as a teacher in a secondary school, as well as a high school in the said subjects, I have access to all the necessary exercise sheets, which allow a good and practical preparation, as of course to trial and exams of recent years. I would be very happy to receive your feedback :)

My lessons are based on the motivation of the individual. Of course, a subject in which you write bad grades is not fun. I want to achieve exactly the opposite. If the students already have the knowledge "I can do that" in the classroom, then they will also be better off directly, oral grades will get better, you will get positive feedback, and writing will be easier. Of course you have to first create a base of knowledge, and here I see my job. My high school graduation I managed with a cut of 1.5, where I had a colorful mix of subjects. I completed German and Biology advanced course each with a 1-. Through my basic courses in history and English, I now have a lot of additional knowledge and know what hardworking memorization means. I like to work with my students with media like movies. simply because the context, when there are many different ways of explaining that are conveyed through the different perceptions of the individual, is better understood and better understood. Just squatting over books and having to spend a lot of tedious memorizing sometimes can be done in a way that you prefer. What do I mean by that? I engage my students in conversations with these topics. That's how they learn to argue. Verbal or written this is always required. I like to build donkey bridges with them, to internalize the learned and to think about it even in stressful situations. In all preparations for exams or work, I compile with the students in detail for them understandable notes (usually the issue is very easy but complicated formulated), show them how memorizing works and how to spend time in work and exams on best divides. So you do not have to be nervous, but can rely on leaving what you can.
