About Julia
I am German, have an MA in translation (English and French) and have worked in different fields, making use of my language skills as a tourist guide, a nursery teacher for English in Germany, for German voice over, proofreading, translations etc.
I have helped to train work colleagues in both written and spoken German, and I love encouraging others. Foreign language skills can open many doors in your career and private life. Let me help you gain confidence.

I am flexible and would like to find out what your needs as a student are. I believe it is important to explain rules, but it is as important to listen and learn by being as immersed into the other language and culture as possible. While working as a nursery teacher for English in Germany, I have seen how effective the immersion method can be. No worries though, I am sure we can find the approach that works best for you!
