I teach from the heart about the instruments I love. I have a wealth of knowledge accumulated in Saxophone/Flute/Jazz Improvisation technique.
I started studying jazz harmony and theory in 2002 but I play all styles of music from classical to funk, rock and blues. - Which subject(s) do you teach? Saxophone, Clarinet and music theory - Tell me about your qualifications. I have a BA hons degree in jazz.. I also have, Grade 5 ABRSM jazz (merit) and grade 6 classical (merit).
I base my classes around the individuals goals, I assess ability in the first lesson and create goals with the client so that they can reach their maximum potential! Discounts and block bookings are available and I can also train for Grade Exams as well!
I use a motivational approach to develop passion in students for their chosen subject, which helps them find a fresh understanding of the text. I strive to build an ongoing interest in the works of great writers so that coursework and test responses come much more naturally.
I am a very versatile music-guitar teacher with vast experience and also have some qualifications you can check on my CV. As a music-guitar teacher I believe that people must be taught to appreciate music along with understanding the technical aspects of the same.
I base my classes on my own school experiences. This includes, first, teaching an initial understanding of the topic before going on to advanced, higher-tier questions and knowledge.
I teach patiently and can explain things in multiple different ways to aid a better understanding of the subject at hand. I research my topic thoroughly to include up to date research when delivering a session. Some people learn faster than others, as such I can cater to many different levels of learning ability and a range of individual knowledge.
I am adaptable to my pupil’s specific needs and capable of delivering classes that are fun, useful and informative.
Education is the key to success, if you fail at school, you also fail in life. Well, at least that's my parents' methodology. as I grew up and went to different levels of education i Discovered that the Key to a great education is not just what is being taught but HOW it is being taught.
If you'd like a teacher that makes you complete grades and play boring songs from textbooks older than both of us, then turn away now! My lessons are well planned but with plenty of room for changes on-the-fly. I believe that lessons should be able to adjust to how you're feeling on the day and what you were listening to this morning.
I received 4A*s and 6As at GCSE and A*AB at A-Level and have a passion for science and maths. I believe all students have individual learning methods and i’d be happy to cater to this. I prefer to structure lessons around the student to ensure they have the best possible chance to do their best.
My preferred teaching methods revolve around collaboration. In ESL lessons, for example, I might provide a set text like a poem or a film extract. My students would then collaborate to interpret the verse, starting with defining as much of the vocabulary as they can before identifying unknown words and trying to hypothesise possible definitions through context.
I am a very friendly, open, empathetic and patient individual, who knows exactly what the current educational pressure can feel like, and so I personally aim to teach in such a way that calms, prepares and motivates you to produce the best quality work as possible! My teaching method is to always encourage you to express yourself and your passions within your work.
I base my teaching on the individual as everyone is different and some people need a new approach when teaching. I will have a chat with you to find out what your needs are and base my tutoring on your needs while offering the best service I can so get in touch and don't be scared of learning those new computer skills.
Got great grades in both Business and Physics at Level. I'd teach 1:1 ideally. I structure based on how the student feels they would learn best. Passionate about both subjects and I enjoy telling students how to do the subject. My best time of tuition is randomly weekdays and Sundays. My times during week can vary due to varying timetables of University.
I am a recent graduate of University College London where I gained a first class degree in History and was commended on the Dean's List for my high academic achievement. I am continuing my studies at Queen Mary University of London where I shall be embarking on a MA History degree in September. Previously I was a student at Southend High School for Girls where I achieved 13 GCSEs at A*-A.
I am currently a uni student who has achieved successful good grades throughout school and so I would like to share my techniques to those who need a little extra help. I am quite flexible in how the sessions will run, however I find that sessions work best when students bring up topics or specific questions that they find difficult so that I can focus on making them more confident in it.
I am currently at med school and so I have a good understanding and interest in Biology, which I would like to share with those who need a little extra help. I am quite flexible in how the sessions will run, however I find that sessions work best when students bring up topics or specific questions that they find difficult so that I can focus on making them more confident in it.
I teach according to each student's abilities. I ask the student what they want to learn, and find out what each student already knows. In classes, there will be students in a range of abilities, some needing remedial lessons and others will require more advanced work. With this knowledge, I create schemes of work and lesson plans accordingly.
I start from the beginning for people who don't speak at all.
I base my classes students needs and comprehension. If you dislike grammar I have a method for you. If you a grasp of grammar and are keen on knowing more I also have got something very special for you! Just get in touch to find out more.
The world has changed from older techniques with newer discoveries that have enabled learning faster and more enjoyable with better results. Every person is unique and my challenge as a teacher is to help that person to find his own unique way to unleash their full potential.
When I get a client I like to speak to them and get an idea of how they best like to learn and what clicks for them. Everyone learns differently and I like to embrace that and help students with the challenges they experience when it comes to learning. My teaching style is unique for each student because of this.
The teaching methodology depends a lot of the age of the student of the student an the goal. The first thing is to asses the current level to see where we are and discuss where we want to go. If the goal is mostly the verbal side of the language, I can propose a mix of syntax and vocabulary exercises and casual conversation to practice.
I highly believe Learning should be enjoyable and interesting. I can help with homework including reading, writing and improving accents. I base my classes on interest and will take that step further to ensure the student has fully understood the subject.
It is important to have objectives that are attainable for each lesson. I plan my lessons in order to reach these targets, and I ensure that concepts are understood by also engaging with students during the course of the lesson.
Can plan individually and as part of a team exciting lessons where students are able to progress well in Spanish. Have used knowledge of IT to help develop visual resources which has contributed to the student`s progress and interest in the lessons.
