- Tell me about your qualifications.

I have PhD in human and biomedical sciences with speciality in HIV and gender issues from the University of Manchester. I have MSc. degree in public health nutrition and MSc. In agricultural/rural economics specializing in food security obtained from University of London and University of Gent Belgium. I have a postgraduate diploma in Food science and international nutrition from The University of Gent, Belgium and B.Ed in health education obtained from Moi University, Kenya. I am, therefore, conversant with the British Education system and other international systems.

- How much do you charge?

The charge varies depending on the subject and level required. I charge no fee for travel within 2 miles of M16. For group lessons I give a discount. Travel costs will be added if there is a need to travel but negotiable. For data analysis charges will be slightly more and I do give discounts for recommending a friend.

- Where do you teach?

I am teaching at my home mostly and sometimes at students' home. I am available online as well. Please contact me for details.

- When are you available?

I am flexible to meet mainly weekends, Fridays in person but will take on any work online daily.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

Above 16, graduate, post graduate and professional levels

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

College, undergraduates, postgraduates and adult education.

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

Mostly I prepare slides of lectures and give instructions on phone, Skype or msn whatever is possible. Plan to do webinars in near future. I will need the information in at least 3 days in advance and for data analysis at least a week. For data analysis, I analyse data myself and give instructions to students online to repeat the analysis themselves for learning. I send the output to recheck. I mostly take the questions first by email to reduce the online teaching time and cost. I will also need at least two weeks for the proposal.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

Good results mirror the efforts invested in learning and I'm here to help you have a good learning experience and improve your results. I bring the best out of the student. Don't feel shy in asking many questions from your tutor until you understand.
