About Tom
I am an 18-year-old student who will be attending the University of Cambridge from October 2023 to study Human, Social, and Political Sciences. I achieved A*A*A in my A Levels and an A* in my EPQ, including an A* in my Edexcel Politics. I first considered tuition following results day, when two of my peers who utilised my essay plans and hour-long revision sessions as a primary part of their revision achieved an A and A* Grade respectively, and thus got into their top-choice universities. My recent experience with taking A Levels and nature as a student allows me to provide you with a viewpoint and tuition style which is in tune with the challenges of taking examinations - I will fully understand any concerns that you may have surrounding your upcoming examinations, and can certainly provide advice on techniques I used to manage my nerves during the process. After achieving an A* in my A Level Politics in the June 2023 Exam Season, I realised that I could share my personal experiences surrounding exams and home-made revision resources (including a comprehensive list of over 180 essay titles and full plans covering all 3 Edexcel papers) with others who could benefit. I offer help and consultation on all Edexcel Politics content (excluding Option 3B Global Politics), revision strategies, and exam preparation techniques. Sessions last for around 60 minutes (although can be extended and are flexible to suit your needs) and are fully customisable as you desire.

Tom helped me hugely in my time studying politics A-Level, whether it was answering any of my questions that I struggled to find online or by letting me utilise his essay plans with strong points and relevant evidence. These were extremely useful and I used these points and evidence in my actual exams and if not for these then I wouldn’t have been able to achieve an A.
Tom helped me massively in the areas of the politics course I struggled with, with his engaging teaching style helping me understand the ideologies. Furthermore he helped me create in-depth and effective essay plans that contributed to me achieving an A!!
