I'm a second year university student and am able to give lessons to students up to the end of high school. I believe it is impossible to have a one-size-fits-all approach to learning and so lessons can be tailored to suit the needs and learning style of the individual.
Lessons will focus on areas of difficulty to ensure full comprehension of the subject.
Throughout my learning experience I have helped my peers to understand our material, as one-on-one learning is often more effective to ask questions and clear up issues. I am excited to begin to share my knowledge and lend a hand to students studying material that i have experience with.
I have experience teaching primary-secondary transitional students on a short course focusing on some biology. It was designed to be fun and get them excited about high school, which the feedback showed it succeeded in.
Currently studying a BSc in Forensic Anthropology. This course begins with a two year grounding in biology, including genetics, cell biology, evolutionary biology, and a wide range of other, smaller topics.
I have an Advanced Higher in Biology.
