The main focus of my lessons is to improve a student’s vocabulary. It’s very important to do so because once a student is able to understand a word, they gain knowledge on how to use that word in a passage of writing as well as the meaning of that word in different contexts. Once their vocabulary is improved, their diction improves as well as their overall speech because they will learn how to use a word in various situations. They will also learn how to structure a paragraph as well as creating efficient sentences. This is important because when the student needs to write documents that are needed for their future, they need to be as professional as possible. The way a student writes can also improve the way they speak and their speech is very important when communicating with people in the industry of the profession they seek to get into.
