About Almaas
I am a young, motivated individual, who is passionate about interacting and teaching learners. I am driven by success and a perfectionist in my approach to teaching. However, I strive to make all my lessons fun by including multiple forms of media and a variety of topics that YOU choose!
I am in my final year of studying towards a degree in Teaching/Education andI plan to pursue an honours degree as well. I have also completed a 168 hour TEFL certificate and gained experience through online tutoring.
Personality wise- I am a funny person (At least I think so), who is obsessed with my cat (He will probably feature in some lessons), trying out new food and hanging out with friends (while being a sore loser at any and all boardgames)

My approach to private tutoring is to ensure that you are extremely comfortable and enjoy your lesson no matter what. I use a personalised approach, where I plan your lessons in advance according to topics you have chosen, while ensuring that all content is covered and understood. While I am only able to teach in English, I am skilled at teaching English to learners who have very little English speaking skills. My lessons are aimed to learners of all learning levels with regards to learning, speaking and reading/writing English!
In a typical lesson with me, we will begin by chatting a little about how you found your homework or lesson prep, and then we will move on to learning essential vocabulary and then continuing to a story/ text and finally completing practice questions.
