About Summer
I am a motivated and determined individual who will go out of my way to make sure that my responsibilities are done with quality work.
I love to teach because my mother was a great teacher and she is my inspiration. She is the reason why I am motivated to study Biology, and she also taught me study methods that enabled me to score excellent grades at school.
Hence, I hope to pass the kindness forward and help other students too.

I strongly believe in active recall and spaced repetition method for studying Biology. Instead of just pure memorisation, understanding the concepts and the correct use of key words are crucial to score well. The methods I use to study Biology have earned me excellent grades, and I am currently under a fully-funded government scholarship to study Biology.
I have been tutoring for the past 6 years, and am also actively involved in my parents' company which organises science workshops for students. I have held several classes by myself, teaching classes of up to 30 students.
Typical lesson length is from 1.5 - 2 hours, depending on the student.
My lessons are for primary to secondary school students.
