I am Grade 8 Distinction Flautist and also play Saxophone and Piano. I have an 8 at GCSE Edexcel music, an A at A Level and am in second year of a music and a foreign language course in Cardiff.

About Elizabeth
I love music and it has been a part of my life since I started playing the flute at 6 years old. Since then I have branched into Saxophone, piano and a bit of clarinet, but most importantly, I have found such a love for analysing music and looking into why it's important in our culture, why it has been written in a certain way but also how techniques reflect feelings and purpose for music and this is something I have taken all the way to university as it is nurtured through GCSE and A level, and I am very passionate about sharing this and inspiring others to feel the same way about whatever part of music they are most passionate about themselves.

I am very passionate about how personal music often is to people as it is something that is often a big part of someone's life and I'm particularly enthusiastic about nurturing this and really focusing on the individuality of the subject and what makes music interesting personally and individually. I have done informal music lessons for piano, singing and flute for younger students and whilst I am still interested in teaching these levels, I would very much like to explore teaching at a higher level like GCSE and A level as I am very passionate about the analysis of music in our culture and throughout time. I think that the typical length of a lesson would be around 1 hour so we can really dive into specifics and unravel and solve any issues or problems that we might uncover without the lesson being too tiring.
