About Shreeya
Hi! I'm Shreeya.
As a student who's recently finished her GCSEs, I realise how daunting and difficult they can seem.
However, based upon my experience (and lots of others'!) I know that this is a small problem that can easily be overcome with the help of a good teacher.
In the past I have tutored several of my friends' siblings and after seeing much improved results and hearing positive feedback I can confidently say that I am a tutor who is able to break down complex topics into small and understandable ones. Also, I make sure to help the student to have a strong and deep understanding of the basic concepts, as it's necessary to have a good foundation first to be able to conquer trickier, higher-level topics.
With my targeted guidance and consistent support, I’ll help you build the confidence, clarity, and calm you need to ace your exams!
I am currently tutoring GCSE students in the subjects of Biology, Chemistry and Maths.

As someone who has finished their GCSEs only last year, and achieved high Grade 9s in each of AQA Biology, Chemistry and Maths, I know first-hand the importance of exam technique and the need to master the mark scheme.
Sometimes it's not enough to just know all the content very well - you need to know how to plan, structure and write your answer too.
That's why, in the lessons I deliver, I will first explain the basic theory to the student so that they have a clear and firm understanding of the topic. Then I will guide the student through exam-style questions for that topic, equipping them with the methods and techniques that helped me secure the top marks in those subjects.
A key practice that my school urged us to do was to master the timing, technique and strategy for answering each style of exam question from the very start - that's why I believe it's really important to do practice using exam-style questions right from September - something that I can help you with.
