About Simar
Hi there! My name is Simar, and I am a Grade 12 student who recently got accepted into university. I have had a talent and passion for English ever since I was a kid and have excelled in the subject throughout my education. My goal is to not only help improve the student's performance in their class, but also provide them with the tools and confidence to continue to excel in English!

My overall objective is to give students long-term solutions and show them strategies that will help them throughout their education career and help them gain confidence in their abilities. I begin by asking a student what they are struggling with, as well as showing me their previous work. I find that the best method to establish long-term success is by going through the student's work and showing them what improvements could be made. Then, I would teach them strategies that have allowed me to continuously excel in English throughout my education, such as the proper structure of essays. I will also help with comprehension of text and reading techniques so students get the most of out what they are reading and prepare them for assessments.
