About Sam

I am about to start my degree at Leeds Conservatoire in September 2023. I studied GCSE and A level Music as well as Music Technology and Maths A Level. I am a Grade 8 drummer and Grade 5 Theory student, both with Distinction. Part of my A Level course included Bach Chorals and I have an advanced knowledge of theory from keys/ scales to extended chords and transposition.

About the lesson

Fun and focuses one to one lessons for all ages 11+. We can go down the graded route or just general music notation for anyone that wants to become proficient at score reading/ righting for compositional or production purposes. Students who benefit the most are those looking at studying music at higher education like A Level Music/ Music Technology or Degree level that want to improve their skills. Experience playing an instrument helps but is not essential.
