About Regine

I'm Teacher Regine from Bohol, Philippines, and I specialize in helping beginners and shy speakers become confident in everyday English conversation. Like many of my students, I learned English as a second language, so I truly understand how scary it can feel to speak and make mistakes. That's why my lessons are not about memorizing grammar from a textbook, but about talking about your real life, your work, your travel dreams, and your interests in a patient, supportive, and pressure-free space. I prepare structured lessons, take notes on your progress, and always give you practical phrases you can use right away, so you leave each class feeling that you actually improved. If you're looking for a dedicated, professional, and encouraging teacher who will remember your name, your goals, and celebrate your small wins with you, I would be honored to be your English partner.

About the lesson

"I know speaking English feels scary. Many of my first students were shy and scared to make mistakes. In my class, we laugh at mistakes — we don't judge them. After 3 lessons, they were speaking 2x more."

"I learned English as my second language too, so I know exactly how it feels. I know which words are hard to pronounce for Asian learners, because I practiced them myself."

"I won't make you memorize grammar rules. We'll talk about YOUR life — your work, your travel, K-dramas you love. You will learn without feeling like you're in school.

"I will be your English Ate(sister) . I will correct you gently, cheer for your small wins, and send you notes after class so you remember."

"I know you have 1000 tutors to choose from. But if you want a teacher who will remember your name, your goal, and will be truly happy when you speak better — that's me. Shall we make a plan for your first 4 weeks together?"
