About Mark
I am originally from Belfast, where I studied biology, chemistry and physics at A level. Here, I developed an excitement for learning and reading that I carried with me through a university degree until now. Today, I usually achieve this through reading and listening to podcasts. Out of my love for learning, I have developed a love for education and seeing the same enthusiasm inspired in my pupils! I believe that pupils should grow to really enjoy what they're taught, and this is my mission in teaching. Outside of this, I love to exercise, particularly running, and enjoy discovering new and unique music.

I tutor those of secondary school age, including GCSE and A level. My lessons will identify the strengths of a pupil, as well as the areas that need improvement. From there, I will personalise the lesson to guide the pupil with simple ways to improve with weaknesses, as well as reinforcing the strengths and gently challenging them to bring these to the next level. I am well positioned to achieve such growth in a pupil, having a Masters degree in biology.
