About Katin
In addition to my multi-faceted experience in a tutor capacity I graduated with a 4.6 GPA from high school and a 4.0 GPA in college while maintaining a academic achievement based full-ride scholarship. In high school, I participated in clubs such as the National Honors Society, National Art Honors Society, National Spanish Honors Society, Beta Club, Key Club, and even an Acapella group. My test scores were high enough that I got into all four of the colleges I applied to, and I continued striving to achieve the highest academic marks possible throughout my time in college as well. Because of my academic achievements, I was blessed to be able to graduate as a registered nurse with my bachelors degree in less than 3 years.

I began tutoring other students during my free periods in high school. I have volunteered in multiple capacities including (but not limited to) working with elementary and middle school students to help them advance to grade-level appropriate literacy, teaching classes on various subjects in a church or group setting, reading and editing my peer’s high school and college level works, educating non-native English speakers while in college, and working as a nursing tutor during college as well.
Others would describe me as being patient, driven, intelligent, hardworking, and thorough. With these qualities in mind, I would love to work with you and your student!
