About Mary Joy
Hello! My name is Mary Joy, and I’m passionate about both learning and teaching — especially when it comes to English Literature. I hold a degree in Business Management from Notre Dame of Dadiangas University, and later pursued a second course in Professional Education, majoring in Literature at King’s College of Marbel. Studying literature opened my eyes not just to stories, poems, and plays — but to the power of language to shape how we think, feel, and connect with others. I chose to become a tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping others discover the beauty and meaning behind the written word. For me, teaching literature isn’t about memorizing authors and dates — it’s about inspiring curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity.
