About Emily
I am a graduate student studying chemical engineering and I am passionate about creating a greener energy landscape for the future of the planet. I have worked in research labs and with industry leaders and cannot wait to dig even deeper into my field. My strengths are mathematics and chemistry but I am well versed in most STEM related subject matter.

I teach by engaging my students as much as possible. If they are asking questions, I know they are following the train of thought. I think practice problems and working through examples is important and I integrate this into my lesson plans. I can teach different levels of course difficulty, ranging from middle school to the undergraduate level. I think my communication strengths and friendliness set me apart as a tutor. I hope to leave my students feeling positive about their subject matter and excited to learn more.
