The lesson revolves around student needs: • Exam preparation – we focus on understanding the content, then selected seminar topics and finally exam past papers. • Selected topic work – firm focus on one topic includes highlighting the essential workings and the applications of the course. • Project support – often students don’t know where to start.
I always try to deliver the course in a very simple method (from basics to advanced based on the student knowledge) to make the student comfortable with the course. Before starting the course, the topics that must be covered are discussed with the student and a timetable will be prepared to make sure the learning procedure is efficient.
I give lessons to all age groups from year 1 till A'level. I like asking the student what they would like to focus on first as I believe the students will have an idea of what they struggle with the most. After that, I can gauge where else they might be struggling and try and focus on basics before heading them into the deep end.
I have a different approach that the one from school in order to give the best chance of understanding, memorising and learning to my students. I always find an efficient way to re-explain knowledge and concepts which could be difficult to understand or too fast to follow during classes. I trained my students with gradual exercises, small tests as well as more complex problems.
My teaching methodology is best described by practical approach rather than just mugging up things. You'll never experience maths in a more fun way then I will make you to.
Currently a 3rd year PhD researcher in the field of environmental catalytic pollution control technology (de-NOx Nitric oxide gases and Methane catalytic converters for Diesel-Natural gas engines) at Belfast (QUB). I completed my GCSEs (2007) and A levels (2009) at Verulam state School in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England.
I generally prefer 1:1 or small groups, as this allows me to ascertain the level and needs of an individual student. I want to discuss with the pupil what their goal is and we will make the best strategy to achieve this. We will go through the subject, building a firm foundation, and developing your knowledge so you can understand the more difficult tasks.
I teach what the student needs to know and wants to learn more about. I base my classes on communication; I ask what needs to be taught and will try identify strengths and weaknesses, then continue to strengthen their knowledge until a firm grasp of the subject is acquired.
My teaching method is to prepare the students for the exam , I teach them how to efficiently achieve the target grade they want and keep stress at minimum, my approach to exams is tactical which includes analysis of past papers for the exam and prediction of possible topics that will come up in the exam.I like to teach in a friedly way and keep lessons entertaining.
I believe everyone has their own individual rate and pattern of learning. Therefore, it is important to logically establish the subject's outline and determine any weaknesses and/or concerns. In doing so, I aim to tailor my lessons to each individual's needs and goals.

My teaching method is based in four different steps: -First of all, I ask them about the content of the subject and about the book that they use to have an idea of the type of exercises that they do and try to know where they can have more problems. - Once the problem is found, I provide them some exercises to see their level.
I develop my classes based on the ability of the individual or the group. Each lesson will be tailored for the specific knowledge required as well as to make the subject more engaging and interesting for the student. By doing this, the lesson does not feel like a problem and knowledge is not retained on rote memorisation but from a genuine passion for the subject.
My teaching method depends on the student. I am quite good at understanding a pupil and adapting my teaching technique in order to maximise their learning. I am available to do Face to Face tutoring as well as tutoring via Web Cam.

Before I start to teach new topics, I will first get to know the student and the level that they are at. Starting from simple questions and heading towards more difficult problems will enable me to adapt my technique to suit the students needs. I am very patient and will challenge students within reason to achieve their best potential. I'm familiar with OCR, AQA and Edexcel exam boards.
I base my classes on initially understanding where the student may lack knowledge and from here I take a systematical approach to address these areas. Using repetition as well as example questions ensures my students develop a thorough understanding of the subject matter. I help students by explaining as simply as possible what things mean so that exams can be aced.
