Student can decide whether to go for option 1 or 2. The ideal option would be to do questions by topic (option 2) followed by an end of unit test. Then if the student demonstrated a good understanding in this topic, we can move on to the next topic and complete practice questions and another end of unit test upon completion of the topic. This procedure can be repeated for all topics until all the content from the syllabus is covered. Once all topics are completed we could then move on to exam paper questions.
The student also has the option of 'diving' straight into past papers and then focusing in more detail on topics where they struggled in the exam paper.
