About Violet
I'm Violet (aka Vi) and I love to help others and get excited about anything creative. I'm from England and I am based in the Gold Coast for 6 months. I work part-time at a mascot-making company so my sewing skills are always fresh, and it would be lovely to fill in the gaps in my week by supporting others in their own creative journeys.
I used to teach summer school craft groups and work as a chaperone at a stage school so I have experience with children.

I am a BA Costume graduate based in Tugun. I can provide home visits or video calls for anyone looking to improve their sewing skills. 1-hour minimum for home visits outside of Tugun/Currumbin.
I can especially help students aged 11-18 with textile studies or even art studies if they feel like experimenting with mixed media art such as embroidery.
As well as tutor sessions, I am available to do one-time visits if you've got a new sewing machine and just need an experienced eye to show you the ropes.
I am experienced with domestic and industrial machines including overclockers.
My sewing qualifications are:
2-1 BA Costume
A in both Art & Textile A-Level (16-18)
9 (A**) in Art GCSE
