About Peter
I am a recent graduate from the University of Edinburgh, with a degree in English literature and Spanish. I have given private lessons to two previous students between the ages of 13 and 15, including teaching English to a local student in Seville while studying in Spain. Though relatively new to tutoring, my experience of teaching and being taught abroad has helped me become more communicative, adaptable, and confident in my interaction with others. As I have a recent experience of the education system, I believe I can provide insightful and empathetic assistance to secondary school students

I have a friendly and approachable nature, and like to create a comfortable, enjoyable atmosphere during lessons. English Literature can be daunting and confusing, but I passionately believe that it can be taught in a way that is not only understandable, but also meaningful to the student. Whether providing extra support to help improve grades, or simply helping to add an extra dynamic to someone's studies, my aim is to create an environment in which learning English Lit. is organic and fun.
