About Aruni
Hi, I'm Aruni! I'm a Graduate Entry Medicine student at King's College London (based in Portsmouth) with a degree in Biomedical Science and three years of NHS experience. I have a genuine passion for helping students succeed and enjoy making challenging topics easier to understand.
I provide friendly, patient and supportive tutoring in maths, chemistry, science and applied science, tailoring each lesson to the student's individual needs and learning style. My aim is not only to help students improve their grades but also to build their confidence and develop a strong understanding of the subject.
Whether you're preparing for exams, catching up on classwork or aiming for top grades, I'm committed to creating a positive learning environment where you can reach your full potential.

My teaching approach is patient, supportive and tailored to each student's individual needs. I focus on building understanding rather than memorisation by breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps. Lessons include clear explanations, worked examples, exam-style questions and regular checks for understanding to build both confidence and problem-solving skills.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes (with longer sessions available if required) and are structured around reviewing previous content, learning new material and practising questions.
I am currently studying Graduate Entry Medicine at King's College London (based in Portsmouth) after completing a degree in Biomedical Science. I also worked in the NHS for three years, developing strong communication and mentoring skills. My academic background allows me to explain maths, chemistry, science and applied science in a clear and engaging way.
Whether students need help improving confidence, catching up with schoolwork or preparing for exams, I adapt each lesson to suit their goals and learning style.
