About Annie
I have as a Teacher's Aide and a Teacher for over 2 years! I love working with students and getting to know them as an individual so I can help facilitate learning. I struggled in school growing up. I had to study hard just to get an average grade. That being said, I understand students' struggles and I thrive from seeing the "lightbulb moment!" We've got this!

I believe that repetition is the key to learning! I have been tutoring children for almost 2 years and I am constantly giving positive reinforcement to progress students.
I start lessons with a warm up which might be a fun academic song or video. I teach the topic for a limited amount of time so students don't tune out. I find that students are more engaged when they can be "hands on." I practice repeatedly with students before letting them work independently and challenging their abilities so they are able to GROW.
I am most experienced with Elementary Education but have substituted in Middle School Ages as well!
