About Julea

I am 23 years old and have always been passionate about helping others. I am very outgoing and love to help others succeed. I am a very driven person and I am very committed to those I work with, always having the goal of their long-term success in mind. I try to help kids see school as beneficial for them too, and inspire a passion in them for it. I love seeing a student realize they are capable and can succeed. I come from a difficult childhood and was able to get a full ride scholarship to college after working my way up as a scholar. I always conduct myself with professionalism, but still am relational and am not just there to do a job and make money, but to truly help kids succeed and grow in their intellectual confidence.

My name is Julea, I work in Marketing, and have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing and emphases in Economics, Computer Information Systems, and Biblical Studies. I have always been accelerated in math and writing and would love to be able to get back into tutoring on the side. I tutored K-12 while I was in high school so I do have experience. I also tutor foster kiddos pro bono on the side still so I do tutor just not as often. I offer affordable rates and am willing to work with you. I am predominantly trying to stay in the K-9th grade age group but am open to going higher. I work in smaller chunks and try to help kids truly understand concepts, not just one problem for their homework, so they are then ready for each progression and don't get caught in a cycle of being stuck. With writing I teach them long-term strategies to writing well for their whole lives.
