About Jessica
I believe in the importance of language and communication. I enjoy helping students improve their skills so they can express themselves clearly, think critically, and succeed academically. As a tutor, I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students can develop their skills and confidence in English.
While I am not tutoring, I am usually in a dark room performing ultrasound scans!

With a special focus on reading and writing skills for students in the early years (Prep to Year 3), I bring two years of experience tutoring this age group and background as a teacher aide. My approach to tutoring English is holistic and comprehensive. I prioritise building a strong foundation in literacy skills such as reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Through a diverse range of resources and activities, I help students develop their phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, and grammar skills.
I place a strong emphasis on nurturing a genuine love for language and literature in my students. By engaging them in interactive and enjoyable activities, not only do students enhance their English skills but also ignite their curiosity and creativity.
