About Sid
My sessions are structured but never stiff - I like to keep things conversational, active, and tailored to how you learn best. I focus on helping you actually understand the “why” behind what you’re doing, then reinforcing it until it sticks. Here’s what that usually looks like: Active recall & flashcards: I’ll quiz you mid-session or use quick flashcards to make sure concepts don’t just sound familiar - they’re locked in. Guided practice: We’ll work through problems together, step by step, until you can explain the reasoning back to me in your own words. Homework that matters: I give short, targeted assignments between sessions - just enough to strengthen weak spots without feeling like extra schoolwork. Visual explanations: For tricky topics like limits, recursion, or graph algorithms, I’ll sketch diagrams or use real-world examples to make things click. Exam & project prep: If you’ve got a test or coding project coming up, we’ll do timed drills, debug together, and go over problem-solving strategies until you feel fully ready. At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to help you actually get it - not just for the grade, but so you feel confident tackling any new problem that comes your way.

Hey! I’m Sid - a Computer Science graduate from Georgia Tech who’s passionate about making tough topics click. I'm currently a full time Software Engineer, but I have a passion for helping others succeed and teaching in general. I tutor Math, Physics, Calculus, and Computer Science for high school and college students, helping them turn confusion into clarity.
I’ve been tutoring since I was 15, and I’ve also been on the other side - I’ve had my fair share of tutors growing up, so I know exactly what works and what doesn’t. That experience taught me that learning isn’t about cramming formulas or rushing through problems; it’s about building intuition and confidence one concept at a time.
