About George
I hold a BSc in Ecology and Environmental Biology and an MRes in Ecosystems and Environmental Change from Imperial College London. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in Biology, Ecology and Environmental Science, alongside experience in scientific research and critical thinking.
I am passionate about helping students understand Biology in a clear, engaging and approachable way. My teaching approach focuses on building a solid understanding of the underlying concepts rather than relying on memorisation alone. I tailor my lessons to each student's individual needs, explaining challenging topics step by step and using examples to make complex ideas easier to understand.
Whether you are preparing for A-level Biology exams or studying Biology, Ecology or Environmental Science at university, I aim to help you develop your knowledge, improve your confidence and achieve your academic goals. I provide a supportive learning environment where questions are encouraged and lessons are adapted to your pace and objectives.
My goal is not only to help you succeed academically, but also to develop your scientific understanding and confidence as an independent learner.

Are you studying Biology at A-level or university and looking for some extra support? I'm here to help you understand challenging concepts, build confidence, and achieve your academic goals.
I have a BSc in Ecology and Environmental Biology and an MRes in Ecosystems and Environmental Change from Imperial College London. My academic background has given me a strong understanding of biological and ecological concepts, as well as experience in scientific research and analytical thinking.
I believe the best way to learn Biology is to understand the concepts behind the facts, rather than simply memorising information. I aim to explain complex topics in a clear and accessible way, using practical examples and breaking difficult concepts into manageable steps. I adapt my lessons to each student's needs, pace and learning goals, creating a relaxed environment where questions are always welcome.
Lessons typically last one hour and are tailored to your individual needs. We can work through difficult topics, review course material, practise exam questions, or develop a deeper understanding of more advanced biological concepts.
For A-level students, I can help you strengthen your understanding of the syllabus and prepare for exams. For university students, I can provide support with biology and ecology topics, scientific concepts, and research-related subjects within my areas of expertise.
I welcome A-level students looking to improve their understanding and exam performance, as well as university students who need additional support with Biology, Ecology or Environmental Science.
My goal is to make Biology more approachable, help you develop confidence in your abilities, and give you the tools to become a more independent learner.
