About Jay
I am a graduate from Iowa State University. I am currently working at John Deere Des Moines Works and am moving towards teaching as a shop teacher in the next few months. I am wanting to perfect my teaching skills and abilities. Teaching math is something that comes natural to me because it gives you a definite answer and it's not wishy-washy.

I teach based on a hands-on approach, that is how I learned best, and I am working towards perfecting that. Start off with what you are learning in class and go from there. I am looking to teach elementary, middle and high school students Algebra and basic math as well as pre-calc.
