About Jennifer
Hello. My name is Jennifer. I am a native English speaker born and raised in the United States. I am certified to teach in the state of Maine where I currently live. Classroom teaching was one of my first passions and I taught there for 7 years. I have also taught online and am familiar with the Zoom platform. I have many interests including animals, nature, gardening, cooking, healthy living, music, cinema, reading and creating. I look forward to meeting you and learning who you are.

Creating a calm and low stress environment is my goal to allow your learning of English to easily grow. I will design lesson plans to your specific needs, abilities and interests. These plans will usually consist of a conversational introduction, then specific learning such as; spelling, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. You will then spend some time practicing what you've learned through writing and conversation. Lastly we will summarize the lesson. I will help you with any mistakes along the way as well as pushing you to practice your speech. I will do my best to be accommodating and personal to your needs as well as cheering you on in your endeavors. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals.
