As a tutor I like for the student to be comfortable when learning material. With that said I like for my students to be open and honest about what they are struggling to understand or are frustrated about it helps me better direct my teaching whether it’s our first time talking about the material or 50th. I love to meet the learner where they are . I’m personally a visual learner so I like to include visual whether it is real life or through a video. I also try to relate what we are learning to real life situations so the learner has a better idea about “why” are we learning the information.
