About Ryan

I recently graduated with First-Class Honours in BSc Actuarial Science from Queen Mary University of London, where I achieved outstanding results in core mathematics modules, including Calculus 1 (84.5%) and Calculus 2 (86.9%). My strong academic background has given me both a deep understanding of mathematics and the ability to explain complex ideas in a clear and engaging way. I am also flexible in teaching maths at all levels, from school-level to university preparation, and would be happy to support both individual learners and small groups. My aim is to make lessons structured, interactive, and tailored to each student’s progress so they feel motivated and capable after every session.

About the lesson

What excites me most about tutoring is not only helping students improve their grades but also building their confidence and enjoyment in mathematics. Having mentored peers during my studies, I understand the importance of adapting my teaching style to suit different learning needs. Whether supporting a student struggling with basics or guiding a high-achiever preparing for exams, I approach each lesson with patience, enthusiasm, and a focus on practical understanding.
