About Jesus
My name is Jesus, and I have been fluent in Spanish for majority of my life. Now as adult, I have developed a passion for teaching others the beautiful language, and giving my students the resources and confidence they need to learn it and include it in their daily lives. In addition to growing up speaking Spanish and being fully immersed in Hispanic culture, I took advanced Spanish courses all throughout high school, as well as college. I graduated in 2013 from Seminole State with a degree in General Studies. While in college I took in-depth Spanish courses and also offered one-on-one hands on tutoring to students, where I really mastered the art of teaching a new language. After college I spent some time living in Mexico, where I had the opportunity to teach English as a second language, and learn even more things I knew existed about Spanish. I can't wait to meet you and get to learning, and remember the key to success when it comes to learning, is to ask questions.

I have been fluent in Spanish for majority of my life, and became fluent as a child. Spanish is the language I spoke at home and now I use it in my professional life to teach others how easy and fun it can be to learn a new language. Everyone learns differently, so I have a very patient but driven approach to tutoring. If you need additional help on a topic or lesson, I will change the way I teach so that you understand it perfectly, in the way that you learn. Learning any new topic can be challenging, but a new language can be a tricky in the beginning and I like to give my students the confidence and tools they need to succeed. My lesson plans include 'homework' which can include speaking the language outside of tutoring, such as when out of the house, when with family or friends, or even when getting ready in the morning in front of the mirror. One of the biggest components to learning a new language is repetition. My tutoring lessons are for anyone and everyone.
