About Thelma
Hello! My name is Thelma Nwachukwu, and I’m a registered nurse with a passion for helping others learn. I graduated from Texas Tech University in May 2023 and have been practicing as a nurse for about a year.
I understand the challenges of grasping complex concepts, especially in the demanding field of nursing. This experience allows me to connect with students who may feel overwhelmed, and I’m dedicated to building their confidence alongside their knowledge. My priority as a tutor is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and tackle difficult topics with a fresh perspective.

What makes me unique is my commitment to personalized, student-centered learning. I focus on building students' confidence alongside their knowledge, helping them overcome self-doubt. I work with a wide range of students, from elementary to high school levels, particularly those in health sciences, nursing, math (algebra, statistics, precalculus) or pre-med fields who are looking to build a strong foundation in biology, anatomy, physiology, and other medical subjects.
