About Kalpana

Hello, my name is Kalpana. I have a strong passion for teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals. As a psychology tutor, I have extensive knowledge of various psychological concepts and theories, and I am committed to sharing this knowledge with my students. I tend to focus on the statistics and methods topic as students tend to find this topic very tricky.

My approach to teaching is student-centered, meaning that I tailor my lessons to each individual student's needs and learning style. I believe that every student has the potential to excel in their studies with the right guidance and support, and I am dedicated to providing my students with the resources and tools they need to succeed. As a psychology graduate, I have access to vast amounts of information and resources that I can use to help my students understand complex psychological concepts and theories. I am excited to work with you and help you achieve your academic goals in psychology.

About the lesson

Techniques and Teaching Methodology:

My approach to tutoring psychology is student-centered, meaning that I tailor my lessons to each individual student's needs and learning style. I take a collaborative approach to teaching, working together with my students to identify areas of strength and weakness, set goals, and develop effective study strategies.

I also believe in making learning fun and engaging, using a variety of techniques such as interactive discussions, visual aids, and hands-on activities to help students fully understand complex psychological concepts and theories.

A lot of the focus will be research and writing as this is the main part of psychology at both A-level and university levels. We will be working on polishing the paraphrasing skills as well as thinking skills.

Typical Length of a Lesson:

The typical length of a lesson depends on the student's needs and preferences. I offer both 60-minute and 90-minute sessions and am happy to work with students to determine the best length of time for their individual needs.

Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor:

I have a degree in Psychology from a reputable university and have extensive experience as a psychology tutor. In addition to my academic qualifications, I am passionate about psychology and am always staying up-to-date with the latest research and trends in the field.

I have a proven track record of helping students achieve their academic goals and have received positive feedback from students and parents alike.

Who are Your Lessons for (Level, Age, etc.):

My lessons are designed for A-level and university-level psychology students of all ages. Whether you're just starting out in your psychology coursework or are looking for help with more advanced topics, I'm here to help. I work with students of all levels, from those who are struggling to those who are looking to take their understanding of psychology to the next level. Whatever your goals and aspirations, I'm committed to helping you achieve them.
