About Qi

I am a passionate and dedicated dance instructor with a strong focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I take pride in being patient, approachable, and always ready to adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s needs. I believe in fostering a sense of confidence and enthusiasm in my students, ensuring they feel comfortable to express themselves while developing their skills. My energy and positive attitude help make each class both motivating and enjoyable.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is focused on creating an engaging, supportive, and structured environment. I blend technique training with creative exploration, tailoring each lesson to the student's needs to keep them motivated and confident. I typically teach 45-minute to 2-hour classes, depending on the student’s age and level. With 8 years of experience and a Bachelor of Dance Education, I’m also pursuing my Certificate in Dance Teaching. My lessons are for all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers. I aim to make learning fun and empowering, helping students build both skills and confidence in their dance journey.

Perfect! My daughter has been taking private ballet lessons with Qi and we couldn’t be happier. She is an incredibly patient, professional, and encouraging teacher who brings out the best in her students. My daughter has not only improved her technique and flexibility but has also gained so much confidence and passion for dance. Qi tailors each lesson to her individual needs and progress, and it’s clear how much thought and care goes into every class. We’re so grateful to have found her!

Qi's response
Mitzi has made remarkable progress in a short period of time. In every class, I can clearly see her improvement. She picks up instructions quickly and understands my corrections with ease. Whenever something is unclear, she communicates with me promptly, which keeps the lessons running smoothly. Each class is enjoyable and productive. It’s a pleasure to teach her.
