About Alyssa
I am a Criminology graduate from the University of Reading, with a strong academic interest in psychology, child development and education. Throughout my degree, I developed strong skills in academic writing, critical analysis, research and essay structure, achieving a First in my dissertation. I also have experience working with children and young people, which has strengthened my interest in supporting their learning and development. I want to use both my academic knowledge and experience to help students improve their understanding, develop effective study skills and become more confident in their academic abilities.

My lessons will be tailored to each student and the areas they need the most support with. I aim to make learning feel less overwhelming by breaking topics down into simple, manageable steps. I can help with understanding difficult concepts, essay planning, academic writing, revision and building confidence. My lessons will be relaxed and supportive, and students will always be encouraged to ask questions without feeling judged.
