About Shawal
I am a pre-PA student, with one year of experience in tutoring at a tutoring center. I have interacted with students of various ages specifically for STEM classes. My passion to teach began in college when I would try to learn difficult science concepts by teaching them to my classmates. This passion to help others reach their academic goals further deepened when I started to tutor professionally.
I have excelled in relevant classes for the subjects of chemistry, organic chemistry, math, physics, biology, biochemistry, and statistics.

I focus on an individualized approach to learning. Throughout my experience in tutoring, I have practiced various methods to fit each individual students' preferences, timeline, and requirements.
During my tutoring sessions, specifically for STEM subjects, I focus on helping students utilize active learning to understand concepts. This includes a breakdown of the concept for the student and providing various practice materials, question sets, and examples to solidify retention of concepts.
What sets me apart from most tutors is my ability to listen to the needs of the students. I am more than happy to modify tutoring sessions to accommodate students and what is needed for their academic success and personal goals.
I am open to tutoring elementary, high school, and college students. I have extensive background in Biology, Biology Honors, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Math, English, Urdu, Physics. I am open to teaching all subjects for elementary school students.
