About Nafeesa
I have tutored students from ages 4-16 from phonics up to GCSE English and Higher Maths for over four years. I am now employed as teaching assistant and cover teacher in a Top 200 secondary school and am on track to start a teacher training course. My desire to tutor comes from my love of teaching and being able to develop a bond with students to help them achieve their fullest potential.

My lessons are typically 1 hour to 1.5 hours for secondary, GCSE and A-level and are tailored to each student’s needs, whether this is content that needs to be retaught or exam technique practice. I am happy to work with students who are at lower abilities and need a lesson which is simpler and more broken down, such as with visual aids. I am also capable of tutoring higher level students who want to push themselves to grade 8s and 9s with specific examples of methods to be able to do so.
