About Navya
I have always had a passion for explaining logical subjects in a simple manner by breaking down complex concepts into simpler ones. It started when I was preparing for my GCSE exams and I started explaining the concepts to my friends and even to myself, I came to the realization that if one can explain the concept to themselves clearly, then they have understood it thoroughly. This really helped me to ace my exams and set a foundation for my future study as well, whilst maintaining a professional approach and allowing me to keep a work-life balance. I believe that there are a crucial 4-5 hours in the day in which our brain works to its maximum potential and that is what I aim to tap through my 1 hour lessons and my approach is to not give too much homework because there needs to be time for extracurricular activities and leisure.

I use three main approaches in my lesson:
1. Share pre-prepared slides with a mix of notes and questions to explain the concept to the student and then let them apply their knowledge to solve the questions.
2. Engage them by giving real-life examples for complex concepts and breaking those down into simpler ones
3. Encourage them to ask questions and doubts so that they understand with greater clarity
I have previously tutored for a year each at Mannings tutors and Notebook tutors as a GCSE maths and chemistry teacher and hold a qualification in tutoring from the qualified tutor.
My lessons are for GCSE, A level and STEM university students.
