About Emily
I have a Bachelor of Music from Westminster Choir College with a concentration in music education. I took many music education classes while I attended university but I decided to go into music business after I graduated. I’ve been teaching music privately ever since I got into music when I was 16! I'm an employee of the Guitar Center Company for almost 9 years. I’ve been a sales associate, music store manager, and music education sales representative. I’ve helped tons of teachers, students, and customers with all kinds of musical needs. Not only that, but I’m also a music director at my church for over 5 years. I lead the worship band (Guitar, Keys, Bass, Drums, and Singers), select songs, teach songs, and assist in other musical needs for the church.

Perfect! My daughter loves Emily! Emily knows how to keep her interested and excited to learn.
Perfect! Emily is incredibly sweet and patient with my 4 year old. She held her attention throughout the entire lesson and my daughter was immediately comfortable in Emily’s calm presence. For an intro class she really focused on getting my daughter familiar with the instrument and laying the groundwork for future lessons.
