About George
I am George Prescott, and I graduated from Fulham Boys School with a Grade 9 in Biology (A**) and a Grade 8 in Chemistry (A*) at GCSE. Whilst some may be put off by my age, being younger simply means that the content which I am teaching is fresh in my mind, and I can teach you more easily than some other tutors due to my understanding of people my age. In terms of personality, I am calm, level headed, patient, kind and polite with my pupils, which results in a warm learning environment for the pupil to thrive in.

I teach GCSE students and below in Biology and Chemistry. In terms of learning, I implement the memory curve to ensure retention of the information taught in my lessons, by revisiting topics at set intervals to engrain it into their long term memory. I have access to a variety of STEM GCSE resources and revision methods which I have implemented myself into my own education, and they have served me well (level 8's and 9's / A*'s and A**'s) and I'm very familiar with the courses as a whole. Besides education, I am a patient and friendly individual who can explain and guide you through any questions or difficulties you may have calmly, and set work tailored to your specific needs. I teach secondary school students, but I specialise in Year 10/11 as that is when the GCSE course starts. A standard lesson is an hour long, however this can be adjusted to suit your timetable whether that be longer or shorter (this affects the amount paid).
