I have completed a Mechanical Engineering Degree with a 3.75 GPA, and am currently a professional in the software field. I have been tutoring both for work and as a friend/family member for years and love it!

I have tutored many levels of math and physics from 6th grade pre-algebra to specialized engineering classes. I understand there are different ways to approach teaching in these situations, however there are a few methods I stick to.
1. Make it make sense! Math is NOT about memorization, if it was I wouldn't be able to come back to it years later. Everything fits together so I try to show the connections until they click!
2. I want to watch YOU do the problems (after a lesson). Tell me how you think about it so I can guide you through. If you can't get it I will do it with you and you can try again on the next. Learn by doing
3. I am going to tell you what you need to remember for future classes. Its just a reality that some concepts are more important moving forwards. We are going to go over everything, but an emphasis will be on this foundation.
I can offer lessons in anything up until Calc-1 and corresponding levels of physics, as well as basic chemistry courses. My understanding of higher level classes is currently good enough to solve problems, but not to explain and tutor.
