About Candice
Originally from San Francisco, I started singing in my school choir my freshmen year at 13 years old. I picked up the guitar around 11 but seriously started learning around 15 when I would practice songs for my choir concert and solos. I wrote my first song at 18 years old and flew off to London for music school soon afterwards to study at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance. I'm currently at NYU doing my songwriting masters.

My lessons will focus on developing the foundational elements to foster creative and artistic expression. I believe that anybody can sing and play/make music if they solidify the support they need to really make it their own.
Having taught a variety of ages, I can tailor the lessons to every students' needs. My lesson plans will be flexible yet engaging. Growth not only as a musician but an artist will always be the core focus.
A typical lesson plan will usually include warm-ups with small drills, learning some technical skills, and then application of learned skills and basics through practicing a song of the student's or my choosing.
