About Mary Flor

I'm a BS psychology Graduate, recently passed my Board Exams here in the Philippines. I am looking for a part time work, I do enjoy teaching Kids, as well as adults. I am 24 years of age, and would like to meet you guys soon!

About the lesson

1. For English (Language & Literature)
Close Reading & Textual Analysis: Instead of just summarizing a text, we break down how an author uses literary devices, tone, and syntax to shape reader perception and emotional response.

Argumentative Structure & Essay Crafting: We use scaffolding to transition from brainstorming to outlining, ensuring your essays have a rock-solid thesis, well-chosen textual evidence, and seamless transitions.

Grammar & Practical Communication: We focus on real-world application, making grammar rules intuitive rather than memorization-heavy, whether for academic papers or professional writing.

2. For Psychology (Core Science & Applied Concepts)
Connecting Theory to Human Behavior: We link abstract concepts (like cognitive biases, developmental stages, or classical conditioning) to everyday scenarios and real-world case studies to make them memorable.

Research Methodology & Statistics: We break down experimental design, variables, hypothesis testing, and psychological data analysis into clear, manageable steps so research papers feel approachable.

Active Recall & Exam Prep: Psychology is heavy on terminology and frameworks. We use targeted quizzes, conceptual mapping, and active retrieval practice to lock terms into long-term memory.
