I keep my classes engaging by ensuring I differenciate the classwork to meet the needs of the individual. My Theatre background allows me to experiment with innovative teaching methods; including using poetry to teach subjects like Science/ History and using performance to develop writing technique.

Emma is an alumni from London metropolitan university and she was always around to help students with different needs. I as a theatre student personally struggled with performance skills and failed the couple of modules in my year 2 which involved performing on stage. I approached Emma and we discussed how she could help me to become a better performer and I put my full trust in her process. For the first few sessions we did exercises that me to build a better sense vocal, physical and spatial awareness. Then we stated working on a different duologue every week. We had about 10 session just over a couple of months. Since then I been able to get As and Bs for my performance related modules and feel much more confident performing on stage. I would definitely recommend Emma to any aspiring or experienced actor looking to improve their performance skills.
It is my absolute pleasure to write a recommendation for Emma. Over the years she has acted as my director, tutor and friend. It is evident that she executes every professional task with care and creativity, whilst showing a great deal of compassion and respect to everyone around her. I admire her leadership skills both with children and adults alike. Emma truly enjoys her work and, although the times are challenging, I hope she can continue to work as the trustworthy tutor that she is!

I had Emma as a director when I was I. My second year of Uni. She's charming, capable, and definitely knows her stuff. She's engaging to work with, with a clear vision of the end-goal, and has superb leadership skills.
Fun, bubbly, caring and most importantly passionate! Emma is probably one of the very few people that restore my faith in humanity! She has a very big heart and whenever she has the opportunity she will always help a fellow human out! Her acting and improv workshops are relaxed, accessible and fun. She combines professionalism and entertainment and maintains them at a pitch perfect level. I did a BA in Theatre and Performance Practice with her and, honestly, I’m not sure I would’ve made it through without Emma by my side!
We studied Theatre and Practice at London Metropolitan University, although she was 1 year ahead. She helped me a lot being my proof reader for my essays, as I'm not native English speaking. But she didn't just corrected my grammar, she also helped me giving me suggestions to how make my essays stronger and writing herself more interesting arguments. She has been the most helpful person I met at university, always positive and full of humor, a lovely woman with a heart of gold.
Best,

Emma’s approach is fresh and different. Her lesson is never dull or boring, but instead filled with laughter and creativity. I’m always inspired by her positive attitude!
I studied with Emma at The CASS, she is incredibly hard working and driven; she is working as an ASC LSA at the moment and I know she adores her work. I also know she works with young children at Gymboree Play & Music. She is a fun, and enthusiastic teacher and learning mentor!
Fully qualified with plenty of experience working with different ages. Always friendly and easy to approach
