About Kerry
I've been tutoring since my days as an undergraduate student majoring in French at Central Michigan University. I started with teaching French and English as a Second Language, working with both adult learners and elementary-aged students. I then went on to teach Introductory College French courses at Wayne State University as a graduate teaching assistant. I've had many successful students in my classes and they often appreciate my friendly, person-oriented approach!

My teaching method primarily revolves around a mutually constructed, person-oriented approach wherein a student and I will discuss what their top objectives and learning goals are. The first lesson is primarily diagnostic, with future lessons being tailor-made to a student's needs, working with French texts and resources both authentic and educational. I have experience teaching both elementary aged children and adults, and my lessons are designed with age and experience in mind.
