About Megan
I am in my fourth year of American Sign Language education as a certified teacher and my seventh year in public education. Though my career is still growing and developing, I have had the privilege to teach over 500 students in all four levels of ASL offered at the high school and college level (I.e ASL 101-ASL 402). I absolutely love what I do and I thrive in the secondary and post-secondary environment!

As a certified high school teacher, I use a thematic, unit based curriculum to teach a comprehensive list of signs in the first year of language acquisition. As the students continue through the curriculum, they learn about the complex nature of American Sign Language from its facial expressions to its unique grammatical structure. I can help students along this journey in every aspect.
