About Brooke
I am a 2026 graduate from the University of Houston with a degree in English (literature concentration). I am an avid reader and writer, as well as a native English speaker.
While I have a diverse reading taste, my studies primarily cover Gothic and Victorian literature. I am currently preparing for grad school.
I have a genuine passion for the English language and storytelling as a whole, and I hope to share that with my students.

My lessons will match the needs of my students.
We’ll start with discussing goals and laying out whether you want to focus on covering specific literature or literary theory, or if you’re looking to focus on English language skills.
I can also design lessons around proofreading and essay writing.
