About Diego
As a trumpet player I believe versatility is the most crucial asset to have. I have played in Concert bands, Jazz Bands, Mariachis and orchestras at the collegiate level. Audition preparation is something I take very seriously practicing correctly and a strong mindset will take you a long way. I made the All-State Concert Band, and Jazz band during my time in high school so I understand what it takes to be successful in these auditions.

I usually assess new students not on skill, but current playing habits. The first lesson I inform the student of bad habits that are preventing them from progressing on their instrument, with these habits in mind I provide methods and techniques that will cure these bad habits. I believe the only way to progress on your instrument is to practice what you are not so good at yet.
